I specialise in telling stories about the past, and I’ve written articles on everything from Victorian cemeteries to the history of ice cream!

Magazines and websites I contribute to regularly include ArtUK, Who Do You Think You Are?, BBC History, BBC Music, Family Tree, Opera and Coast. 

I have also written features, research guides and online content for clients including the BBC, National Archives and Ordnance Survey. 

As well as writing articles, I also research, script and produce audio/visual content. I have worked on a range of animations, documentaries, podcasts and short films.
